Yarnstream is a truly local yarn shop, housed in a vintage 1969 Airstream. When she gets all finished with rehab, she will wander the scenic routes and byways of New England, with Mad River Valley being her true home. She will be open regular hours, or you can book a special visit for you and your pals.
After years of searching for an old Airstream, Jill finally found the old girl in the next town over. When she first saw the old trailer in a frozen field in the Adirondacks, she knew she was the one. So Lurlene found a new home.
Why Lurlene? Jill’s father was a small-town doctor in South Texas, and his nurse of 40 years was Lurlene Cunningham. Jill and her siblings were like grandchildren to Lurlene, so we’re bringing her happy heart with us out on the road.
